Dundalk: Informal ME/CFS social meet-up on Thursday, August 29 hosted by Tom Kindlon

2 PM - 3:30 PM on Thursday, August 29 at Lisdoo Bar & Restaurant, Newry Rd, Dundalk, Ireland A91TF30 https://www.thelisdoo.com/

Transport/travel: Venue is quite close to the M1 junction 18. There is a complimentary car parking on site which should have enough spaces at this time of the day.
I'm not familiar with public transport options.

All welcome. You don’t need to be a member of the Irish ME/CFS Association.

Register your interest (optional) by emailing me at tomkindlon@irishmecfs.org . Useful if we were to have to cancel it (hopefully unlikely) or you can't find us on the day. I don't promise to be able to reach everyone who hasn't registered if we did have to cancel.

Format: None. People chat spontaneously with others either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.

Entrance: Free

Refreshments: People buy their own food and/or drink.

Length: People are free to stay on after 3:30 PM. But that is getting close to my energy/similar limit so I'll probably leave around then.

Background: I spend the summer in a mobile home near Dundalk. Alan Boyle came to one of our meet-ups in Dublin and he lives near enough to Dundalk so we thought we would meet up, which we did for the first time in July. It went well so we decided to organise another one.

The carvery is served from 12 PM to 3 PM so I might buy a plate which I believe this cheaper than the set menu. However other people don't need to buy lunch if they don't want: you can simply order a drink including tea or coffee.

I plan to be in the bar, on the end close to the car park entrance.
