2:15 PM - 4PM on Thursday, June 27 at The Bell Bar & Restaurant, Dublin 15, D15 EW77, Ireland https://www.thebell.ie/

Transport/travel: Venue is close to the M50 junction 6. There is a quite big car parking on site which should have plenty of spaces at this time of the day. Castleknock train station is 400 m away. There are bus stops very close.

All welcome. You don’t need to be a member of the Irish ME/CFS Association.

Register your interest (optional) by emailing me at tomkindlon@irishmecfs.org . Useful if we were to have to cancel it (hopefully unlikely) or you can't find us on the day. I don't promise to be able to reach everyone who hasn't registered if we did have to cancel.

Format: None. People chat spontaneously with others either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
Entrance: Free

Refreshments: People buy their own food and/or drink.

Length: People are free to stay on after 4 PM. But that is getting close to my energy/similar limit so I'll probably leave around then. At the December meet-up where 6 people attended, one person told me they left at 6:20 PM.

Inside or outside? If the weather is good, I aim to be outside. But other people are free to split off and be inside if they prefer.

Background: I am meeting Aine Monahan for lunch. However other people don't need to buy lunch if they don't want: you can simply order a drink including tea or coffee. Carvery lunch is sold till 3 PM and that is what I'll be getting but there is also a general food menu that is available all day (though the general food menu is more expensive; I tend to get the half-portion carvery lunch which is a good size and costs €9.95). Aine has ME for many years but is more mildly affected than me. Some may recognise her from organising the Cornelscourt blue ribbon collection over many years. Attendance at our previous meet up staring the last year: 6, 6 & 8

If the weather is not so good, I plan to be in the room where the carvery lunch is served (“carvery” over the door). We had it to ourselves after the food stopped being served in previous meet ups. It also has low stools that are a good height for me to put my feet up on. But if not we may be in the lounge area which has lots of seating.
